Late 19th-century half wine-red shagreen binding with small corners signed Wiener at the tail of the first volume. Smooth spine decorated with compartments. Title and volume numbering gilt. Spines uniformly lightened. Fillet on boards. Minor traces of rubbing. Occasional pale foxing, notably around the engravings. Uncut copy with wide margins. Handsome copy.
Extremely careful privately published edition, the particularity of which is to provide precious information on the English economy, industry, manufacturing, the Industrial Revolution and its ravages to which the author is sensitive.
