Limited edition of 400 copies. One of 300 copies on Rives B. F. K. numbered 321.
Inscribed on the title page by the authors: "To Madame de Siguera-Feissly, the most beautiful thing in the world is a rose in a glass. Respectful homage. Jérôme and Jean Tharaud. Paris. March 1937".

Full green morocco, lined and inlaid in blue and beige morocco, signed in gilt on the bottom of front turn-in by Randeynes et fils. Marbled paper-covered slipcase lined with brown shagreen leather.

Edition illustrated with 27 in-text monochrome decorations by Eugène Courboin and a double frontispiece, including one of Daniel Vierge interpreted as an etching by Frédéric Massé, one of 660 numbered copies on satin velin from Scotland, only print with 40 royal Japan.
Binding in half pale blue morocco, spine decorated with typographic motifs with a piece of black and flesh coloured mosaic morocco in the centre representing a faun playing the flute, title piece in navy blue morocco, frame of gilt fillets on the marbled paper boards, caillouté marbled endpapers, covers and spine preserved, top edge gilt, contemporary binding signed Randeynes.
Small traces of foxing on the first boar
