12 hors-texte plates, here present in two states as in the tirage de tête, as well as 48 engravings to text reproducing works by Jean-François Millet.
Provenance: from the collection of the painter and engraver Jean Frélaut with his signature to one pastedown serving as an ex-libris.
This copy exceptionally enriched with three original drawings, pencil on paper, on two loose sheets, by Jean Frélaut, signed and dated and executed in the manner of Millet, as detailed at the foot of the drawings.
The drawings show two women and a portrait of a man.
