Autograph letter signed by composer Giuseppe Verdi, written from his sumptuous apartment on the Champs Elysées. 12 lines in ink on a folded leaf. Some foxing at the top of the first leaf. Pencil note by the addressee at the bottom of the first page, piece of paper pasted over a note by the addressee in ink on the verso of the blank folio. Small piece of paper missing at foot of blank page, some traces of folding.
Handsome autograph letter signed by the famed composer of La Traviata, Rigoletto and Aida.

Rare original photograph on albumen paper, in carte-de-visite format, mounted on cardboard.
We have been able to find only one copy of this photograph in public collections, at La Scala in Florence.
