Half red calf binding, spine slightly faded with four raised bands decorated with gilt and black friezes and fillets as well as black typographical motifs and a gilt mandorla, headcaps and joints at the level of the headcaps showing traces of rubbing, marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, corners slightly bumped, marbled edges, contemporary binding. Our copy is complete with its explanatory folding plate at the end which has a tear without loss.
Some foxing mainly at the end of the volume.
