Full pine green shagreen binding, lightened spine with four raised bands decorated with gilt compartments adorned with gilt typographical motifs, gilt roulettes on headcaps, one joint slightly cracked at head, frame of black, blind and gilt fillets on boards decorated at their centers with gilt romantic arabesques, endpapers and pastedowns of white moiré silk in lace pattern, frame of double gilt fillet on pastedowns, all edges gilt, gilt fillets on leading edges, corners slightly bumped, contemporary binding.
