Contemporary red half shagreen, spine with five raised bands ruled in gilt and decorated with gilt floral motifs, gilt initials and date at the foot of the spine, boards framed with blind fillets, minor rubbing to the spine, staining to the boards, marbled endpapers, speckled edges.
A few light foxing spots.
Provenance: from the library of A. Montluc, Consul General of Mexico in Paris, with his gilt initials at the foot of the spine.
