    Binding in full, long-grain, red morocco, spine decorated with triple gilt fillets and black typographical motifs, gilt roll tooling on the spine-ends, frame of quadruple gilt fillets adorned with gilt and black fleurons in the corner pieces of the boards, marbled endpapers, frame of gilt lace tooling on the pastedown endpapers, covers and spine preserved, gilt fillets on the leading edges, top edge gilt.

The catalog features 145 paintings by Monet and 36 sculptures by Rodin in chronological order, including the famous Impression soleil levant (Impression, Sunrise) as well as Le Penseur (The Thinker), still described as a part of the Gates of Hell for which it was originally created.

Numerous tears on the covers, tears on a few pages not affecting the text, a few pages loose.
    Extremely rare documents, to our knowledge unique set of archives to have survived the destruction of the molds and records of the Rudier foundry in 1952. The only other archives known to date only concern castings commissioned by the Rodin...
