Contemporary full red Russia leather binding. Smooth spine decorated with 5 fleurons and fillets. Gilt title. Wide decorative border on boards with eagles, serpents, rabbits and stars in the corners. Interior garland. Spine darkened, having become dark red. Dark stains on lower board. One scratch on upper board. Endpapers having suffered humidity with discoloration. In lower margin, faint trace of dampstaining throughout the volume, more extensive at end of volume, with traces in outer and lower margins. Handsome copy in contemporary Russia leather.
