Publisher's binding in black cloth, title and author's name gilt to spine and upper board, polychrome reproduction of a work by the artist laid down to the same board.

Small losses to the upper headcap, which is beginning to lift slightly, minor wear to the lower headcap, gilt entirely faded to spine, a few faint white offsetting marks to spine and boards, marginal stain to upper board, corners bumped.

Browning to pastedowns and endpapers, as is common; a few small instances of offsetting to the text block.
