First edition, rare. One engraved title-frontispiece by Le Baour. One folding table titled "Généalogie de la Maison de Toulouse" and one plate engraved by L. F. Baour depicting a gold medal struck in honor of Ferréol de Lafage.
Modern Bradel binding in full marbled paper, smooth spine decorated with a black shagreen title-label, white paper endpapers and pastedowns, binding signed P. Goy and C. Vilaine.
Corners of leaves folded. Full-margined copy, untrimmed. Some scattered foxing.
This history of the city of Toulouse ends with the death of Henri IV. It is completed by a notice on the famous men of Toulouse. The author, lawyer at the Parliament and member of the Academy of Toulouse, continued the work of La Faille (Annales de la ville de Toulouse, 1687) while correcting it. He used the registers of the Town Hall and Dupuy's manuscript. His history ends at the date of 1610.
