Half red shagreen binding, spine with five raised bands set with gilt dotted lines and decorated with gilt floral motifs, minor rubbing to headcaps and joints without significance, blind fillets framing the red paper boards, gilt laurel leaves and "Lycée Charlemagne" stamped at center of front cover, marbled endpapers and pastedowns.
