Full chocolate calf binding, smooth spine very slightly faded decorated with double gilt compartments and black fillets, gilt dots at head and foot, gilt roulettes on headcaps, blind romantic garland frames and a gilt fillet on boards, gilt inscription "Comice agricole de l'arrondissement de Mirecourt à Mr L. Laurain 1845" on front board which has four brown stains, gilt fillet on edges, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, contemporary binding.
Work complete with its 10 folding plates at rear.
Light marginal dampstaining at head and foot of first pages and plates, copy almost entirely free from foxing.
