    Endpapers partially shadowed, some small foxing of no consequence at beginning and end of volume.

    Collection of various plays, containing, by Mercier: Le Vindicatif (date corresponding to the privilege 1774), Le déserteur (1770), Jenneval (1783), and by Desforges: La piété filiale (1784), Richard et Derlet (1779), Tom Jones (adapted from Fielding's novel 1783).
    Contemporary full sheep binding in marbled and speckled brown, marbled edges, raised band spine decorated. A tear with loss to the lower joint on the front board, light scuffing. Good overall condition of the paper, but dampstains on the first leaves.
