Full caramel morocco binding, spine with four raised bands outlined in black fillets, date gilt at foot, gilt rolls on the headcaps, turquoise morocco doublures framed by triple gilt fillets, brown moiré silk endleaves followed by moiré-effect paper endleaves, original wrappers and spine preserved, all edges gilt, gilt fillets on board edges. Matching slipcase with caramel morocco edges, blue-grey felt lining and sides covered in moiré-effect paper. Magnificent binding signed by Semet & Plumelle.
