The 10th volume, in uniform binding, is the refutation of Raguse's memoirs by Laurent de Lardeche: Réfutation des Mémoires du Maréchal Marmont, Duc de Raguse devant l'histoire.
Contemporary half black shagreen binding. Smooth spine in Jansenist style with cold fillets. Gilt title and volume number. Boards rubbed. One library label at the foot of volume 5. Some foxing on an otherwise fresh set. Good copy.
