The house was commissioned by textile magnates Paul and Lucie Cavrois, for their family of seven ; construction and decoration took place between 1929 and 1932.Publisher's spiral binding booklet, printed boards. Some foxing to the first cover, and also a faint dampstain to the right margin. Good condition inside.Preface by Jean Mistler, then Minister of Postal services and former Under-Secretary of State in charge of Fine Arts. Followed by a presentation by Robert Mallet-Stevens, a manifesto of his total oeuvre: "Home for a large family. Home for a family living in 1934: air, light, work, sports, hygiene, comfort, economy.
