    Three minor tears of no consequence at the foot of the first cover.
    A handsome full-margined copy.
    In 1926, Albert Londres, who had already traveled to numerous countries in his capacity as a reporter, settled in the Phocaean city. Marseille porte du Sud, an account comprised of twelve articles, is a true documentary and above all a tribute to this cosmopolitan city.

    Binding half morocco chocolate brown, back with five nerves, marbled paper plates, guards and contreplats brown paper, wrappers and back preserved and bound in, gilded head, signed binding Goy P. & C. Vilaine.
    Precious autograph signed Albert in London Henri Beraud, "Behold, my dear Henry It's Albert..."
    A small spot and a hole affecting minucule page 161 as well as those the previous and succeeding him.

    Binding to bradel full black paper with decorative patterns, smooth back, as part of black morocco, wrappers and back preserved and bound in (back and boards with marginal gaps filled and restored tears), signed binding T. Boichot.
    Precious autograph signed Albert London: "To my friend Henry Beraud, remember."
    Some angular gaps filled six sheets (particularly page 125) that were badly cut by the dedicatee.
    Pleasant elegantly drawn copy.
