Binding of the editor in full red calico, smooth back shown a polychrome contained escape of the Bastille, first dish adorned with a large polychrome decoration representing various historical events that took place between 1789 and 1889, second course complete with a set of threads and black garlands, guards and blue paper contreplats with marginal landfill adhesive paper, gilt edges. Dated autograph dedication from the author to Edouard Simon. Rare spots. Agrtéable original in a polychrome cartonage of the publisher. Pleasant specimen almost free of freckles.
