Edition illustrated with 40 original etchings by Gustave Leheutre engraved by Eugène Delâtre and printed in 117 numbered copies on Arches laid paper, this copy printed for Jean Borderel.
This is the only work illustrated by the painter.
Full chocolate brown morocco binding, spine with four raised bands, blind-tooled roulettes on headcaps, moss green morocco doublures with important floral decoration of cyclamens in mosaic work in green, red, lilac, violet morocco, gilt and blind tooling, almond and gilt watered silk endpapers, following endpapers of combed paper with pasted monogrammed bookplate, covers and spine preserved, blind fillet on leading edges, all edges gilt, slipcase with chocolate brown morocco entry, marbled paper boards with some rubbing, superb mosaic binding signed Marius Michel.

Very handsome copy superbly bound by Marius Michel in doublure and mosaic morocco.
