Half-green shagreen binding, spine lightened with five raised bands bordered by black fillets, marbled paper boards, boards marginally lightened, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, original wrappers preserved, corners very slightly bumped.
Our copy is exceptionally enhanced with an original watercolor, mounted on a stub before the title page, depicting a portrait of l'Aiglon crossed by an imperial seal.
Autograph inscription signed by Octave-Denis-Victor Guillonnet to Henry Marcel at the top of the original drawing.
