Half black sheep bindings, smooth spines decorated with black and gilt fillets as well as black fleurons, spines with minor scuffs without consequence, black calf title and volume labels, marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, speckled edges, two corners slightly bumped, a small tear at head on one leading edge of the second volume, contemporary bindings.
