Precious original silver gelatin proof by the renowned Belgian photographer, one of the most secretive contemporary artists, who despite early international success, preferred to limit his production to maintain the coherence of his work. Marc Trivier does not produce new prints of his old portraits, and the printing paper he used is no longer commercially available. The artist "makes his own prints on Ilford baryta paper, devoting several days of work to each one, with particular concentration on rendering the whites, in contrast...

Signed autograph postcard by Hans Hartung addressed to his friend art critic Georges Raillard, specialist in the works and biographer of Joan Miro and Antoni Tapies (14 lines in blue ballpoint pen written from Turin).
The postcard shows on the verso the Piazza Castello and the Palazzo Real, Georges Raillard being at that time director of the French Institute in Barcelona.
"Nous avons très mauvaise conscience de ne pas encore vous avoir remercié (et chaleureusement) de tout ce que vous avez fait pour nous..." ["We have a very bad conscience for not yet having thanked you (and warmly) for all that you have done for us..."]
