The poet, author and playwright sends this letter to thank his correspondent for the wishes he has addressed to him. She also thanks him for the advice that he gave her to find a house in Cambo where she now lives with her husband Edmond Rostand, and informs her that she wants to sell their old house and acquire a new one in the vicinity. from Paris.

The poet, author and playwright sent this letter to thank his correspondent who offered his services for the construction of a house on the ground that Edmond Rostand bought on a "piece of uncultivated mountain on which a long time will rise no habitation ". She informs him nevertheless that he will not build a house on this ground, but that if they tackle one day with such a project they will give him "the preference on anyone". She compliments the architect on his "artistic intelligence" and the "safety of his taste".
