    Half navy shagreen binding with corners, spine sunned with five raised bands, gilt date at foot, gilt fillets framing the marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, covers and spine preserved, top edge gilt, binding signed by L. Bernard.
    Our copy, as stipulated in the justification page, does include the double state of the wood engravings.
    Some minor foxing. Handsome copy despite the sunned spine.
