Scattered foxing, light dampstain affecting the foot of the first 400 pages, bibliophile's stamp at head of half-title page.

Some slight bites without gravity on the boards, nice copy.
Illustrated book of 42 photographs and 46 drawings of the author.
Our copy is complete of his trailer on which a previous owner of the book wrote this handwritten note about the author: "Totally eliminated from the RTF since December 1957 ... It was his only additional livelihood . "
Signed autograph from Trajan Saint-Inès to Jean Mahé: "... last confident hope of the author in a bit of human justice ..."
