    Work illustrated with a portrait of Léon Daudet as frontispiece, 1 tailpiece as well as 14 original hors-texte by Charles Fouqueray reproduced in colors by Fortier-Marotte.
    Half burgundy morocco binding with corners, smooth spine decorated with gilt floral motif enhanced with green and beige mosaic morocco pieces forming the petals, light rubbing without significance to headcaps, boards, endpapers and pastedowns of marbled paper, covers preserved, top edge gilt, corners slightly bumped, elegant contemporary mosaic binding signed David.

    The works are bound in threes in half navy-blue shagreen by Houades, the spines decorated with stars and crescent moons in palladium, upper covers preserved (some lower also retained), all edges gilt.
    All the works are illustrated with etchings, lithographs or woodcuts, each by a different artist from among the following : Alexeieff, Ahü, Dignimont, Baudier, Renefer, Drouart, Mainssieux, Suréda, Fouqueray, Serveau and Dethomas.
