Our copy is enriched by an autograph letter dated and signed by Jean Drault, at the head of the anti-Semitic newspaper La Libre Parole, in which he apologizes for not being able to honor an appointment made previously with his correspondent.

First edition of this one-act comedy performed despite censorship on June 30, 1901, no deluxe copies were issued, false statement of a thousand copies.
