Contemporary full vellum binding. Smooth spine with fillets and pen-written title. Stains, tears to the vellum at foot.
Interesting work forming a study of the economic cost of churches, congregations and religious communities, as well as the activity of religious persons. A second part describes foreign cults and their relationship to money and studies this same cost among different churches (Jews, Turks, Arabs, Hindus, Persians, Chinese, Egyptians, etc.). The final chapters concern America (Mexico and Peru). Anselmo Desing was a scholar and a Benedictine father of the monastery of Ensdorf, he occupied various teaching positions at the faculty of Salzburg. He is one of the first to employ the word Socialism, born in the anti-Enlightenment movement.
