Rare first edition under publisher's wrapper dated 1845. The second volume lacks the list of subscribers at the end. Spine of the first volume worn, one joint cracked at foot, corner losses to boards of both volumes which also show worming, some foxing, pale marginal dampstain at end of first volume. Rare but in poor condition.
