    Full lemon yellow shagreen binding, smooth spine, the letters composing the title of the work are inlaid in grey shagreen and set in gold on the first cover which bears at foot the author's name in a grey shagreen rectangle, grey box endpapers and pastedowns, two endpapers marginally soiled, original wrappers preserved, top edge gilt.
    The work is illustrated with a frontispiece portrait of the author by André Derain.
    Handsome copy pleasantly bound.
