Half cherry red morocco binding, spine with five raised bands set with gilt fillets decorated with double gilt compartments richly adorned with gilt decorative motifs as well as a mosaic piece of cherry red morocco, some minor traces of rubbing to spine, double gilt fillets on marbled paper boards, endpapers and pastedowns of marbled paper, top edge gilt, contemporary unsigned binding but attributable to Lancelin.
