Half-cherry red glazed calf binding with corners ca 1870. Spine with raised bands richly decorated with leaves and flowers, roulettes at head and foot. Tobacco calf title-label, dark green calf volume label. Lower joints of volumes 1 and 2 with some cracking and rubbing, but joints solid and consistent. A small fragment missing from the head of volume II. A fine copy.
