    Each issue of the journal contains four posters reproduced in cloche format and in chromolithography, each bearing an embossed stamp of authentication.

    First edition, one of 60 numbered copies on Japan paper containing a triple state of Jules Chéret's etchings, the most limited deluxe paper issue after 20 on vellum.
    Work illustrated with 10 etchings by Jules Chéret.
    Spine and boards uniformly yellowed, handsome interior condition despite endpapers slightly and partially shaded.
    An autograph inscription has been skillfully erased below the printed title on the half-title page.
    Our copy is exceptionally enhanced with a fourth state, in colors and on a loose sheet, of the frontispiece.

Five volumes bound in light blue half-cloth, smooth spines, blue morocco ti­tle labels decorated with double filets, marbled paper boards (4 volumes). The color title pages have been preserved and bound in. Marginal tears without damage to the text (no. 163; no. 165; no. 184, p. 2). Mar­ginal restorations without damage to text on 8 leaves be­tween nos. 214 and 223. Two leaves of no. 224 backed. Mar­ginal tear with some paper missing (no. 345, p.1). Format of quires in the first vol­ume varies; some are trimmed more than others.

    One of 100 copies of the magazine printed on China paper for issues 1 to 11. The specimen issue and no. 12 are on laid paper. Our copy is complete with the spine and covers of the general binding, and the twelve illustrated covers.
    First edition of the complete collection of L'image, published between 1896 and 1897.
    All issues of the magazine are bound together under a half sheep binding with corners, spine with five raised bands titled in gilt, marbled paper boards. Some rubbing.
    Scattered foxing and marginal tears.
    Complete copy of this magazine founded by the young French corporation of wood engravers, and published by the publisher of...

    The first edition of this rare collection, almost complete and comprising 416 issues of four pages, each illustrated with a color caricature and sometimes illustrations to text. A ninth volume appeared in 1899.
    Contemporary half red shagreen over marbled paper boards, spine in six compartments, titles and volume numbers in gold, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, title page preserved in each volume.
    Spines uniformly faded, a little spotting and occasional browning. No. 136 slightly shaved by binder and first page of No. 74...
