The first volume was translated by La Pilonnière, the translator of the second is unknown; this first volume had appeared in 1725 under the title: Histoire des dernières révolutions d'Angleterre.
Foreign (English?) contemporary binding in full marbled tawny sheep. Spine with raised bands very richly decorated. Red morocco title-label, decorated tan morocco volume label. A lack in the first compartment of volume I. Tail headcap of volume II worn with a lack in the compartment. Some wormholes. Scratches
