Later full black sheep binding signed Thouvenin at foot (one of Thouvenin's earliest bindings, in the style of Bozerian his master). Spine with raised bands decorated with 4 small fleurons. Series of fillets at head. Title and date gilt. Gilt fillet frame on boards. Roulette on edges and interior border. Gilt edges. Spine very slightly faded. Handsome copy.
