Half bottle-green shagreen binding with corners, faded spine with five raised bands, date and "Prix Goncourt" mention gilt at foot, marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, covers and spine preserved, modest binding.
Rubbing to head of spine, boards marginally faded.
Signed and inscribed copy from Jacques Borel to Georges Feutrel on this work which was awarded the Prix Goncourt in 1965.
