    First edition of the French translation by Willy, of which there is no mention of great papers.
    Cover illustrated with a blood Garnier Salbreux.
    Binding half brown shagreen, discolored smooth back and adorned with gold cartridges, marbled paper plates, guards and contreplats of handmade paper, preserved covers, golden head, ex-libris engraved by Walter Furst pasted on a contreplat.
    Autograph dedication dated and signed by Meg Villars, who was the mistress of Willy while he was married to Colette, Walter Furst enriched with an autograph dedication signed by Willy.
    Both shipments are written in English and made on the illustrated cover.
    Our copy is also embellished with a photographic postcard, pasted on a guard, representing the authors on which Willy has made a new autograph dedication dated and signed to Walter Furst: "... exiled to Brussels ... ", written in Brussels and also containing the handwritten signature of Meg Villars.
    Finally, three photographic postcards representing Willy alone for the first, then Willy and Polaire for the second and Willy and Claudine for the last were mounted on tabs between pages 156-157, 264-265 and 294-295.
    On each of the three photographic postcards, Willy cracked a signed autograph or a few words to Walter Furst.
    Unique copy nicely enriched with handwritten documents.

    Handsome copy signed and inscribed by Paul Verlaine to Émile Le Brun to whom Verlaine dedicated one of his poems (Dédicaces, sonnet XVI). 
    This copy includes manuscript corrections by Paul Verlaine himself and an exceptional manuscript poem on page 123.
    A nice copy, elegantly bound, containing the first printing of the famous Art poétique [Art Poetics], Verlaine's response to Boileau's Art Poétique.

    Beautiful upper cover, with crisp gilding. Well-pointed and rigid corners. Regular gilt edges. Spine uniformly sunned but with gilding still present. Headcaps slightly turned over. Beautiful back cover, without defect. Shiny cloth. Handsome copy, firm and solid.
    Story of a French Canadian family during the Patriots' Rebellion (1837-1838) against British injustice. One of the author's most serious titles, without a happy ending.
