Signed autograph letter from Stefan Zweig addressed to his friend pianist Alfred Cortot, two pages on a letterhead, written in purple ink. The Austrian writer, passing through Paris, tries to see his friend the pianist Alfred Cortot, specialist of Chopin: " I will telephone you [sic] around 7 am to know if you still have your evening free and if you and Madame would like to dine needless to say, I will be delighted . " He plans social gatherings with the famous English socialite Lady Colfax and devotes himself to his passion for autographs: " Mr. Eidemann will come Thursday around 6:30 am to show you autografes [sic] ".
