First edition illustrated with 4 plates and one large folding map at the end of the first volume. Contemporary half brown sheep binding. Smooth spine decorated with 2 grotesque compartments, 2 fleurons and rules in place of raised bands. Havana calf title label and volume label. Restorations to foot headcaps and gilding. One lack at foot of volume 2. Upper joint of volume 2 cracked at head and split in several places. Some scattered foxing.
