Second edition. This work is part of "L'épopée de l'histoire de France" which forms a collection of romanticized passages from French history. Half green calf binding, the front cover shows fold marks, the back cover has paper losses, the corners, head and foot of spine are bumped, smooth spine decorated with quadruple gilt fillets, numerous tears and losses remain on the spine, scattered foxing, stamp on title page, pencil marks. Rare but in this condition.
