Contemporary Swiss-German binding in full brown tree-calf. Smooth spine decorated with 4 urns and ornaments. Orange calf title-label, green calf volume label. Some occasional foxing in the margins, but pale foxing on title page and on the first half-title of the second volume. Micro split at head of upper joint of second volume. Pp. 345 and 347 of the second volume, fine tear over a few centimeters without loss. On the upper board of the second book, a scratched area over 1cm. Pagination error in the third part, the continuous pagination jumps from p. 187 to 192 on the same leaf. Very handsome copy.
