Two original drawings in black pen signed and captioned in black and red felt-tip pen "Fernand Trignol Joinville 1935. Page 134" depicting the actor Fernand Trignol. In the first drawing Fernand Trignol is shown in profile wearing a checkered cap; in the second, he displays a good-natured expression with his arms crossed. Fernand Trignol was also a specialist in slang to the extent of being the "Langue verte" advisor for several directors such as Jacques Tourneur, Sacha Guitry in "Les mémoires d'un tricheur", Claude Autant-Lara in "Fric-Frac" and Jacques Becker in "Casque d'or". Carlo Rim was a Provençal writer, author notably of "Ma belle Marseille", a caricaturist, a filmmaker and was notably the friend of Fernandel, Raimu and Marcel Pagnol but also of Max Jacob and André Salmon whom he met in Sanary.
