Half dark green Russia morocco binding, smooth spine decorated with gilt arabesques, gilt date at foot, gilt fillet on marbled paper boards, three scratches on first cover, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, bookplate pasted on pastedown, covers and spine preserved, elegant pastiche binding signed by Pouillet.
Work illustrated with a title vignette and 8 plates.
Some foxing of no great consequence.
