Louise Michel asks the recipient of this letter for advice regarding her young cousin: "Ignorant si Clémenceau aurait le temps d'écrire un mot de recommandation pour quelques leçons à mon petit cousin Dacheux je vous le dis d'abord afin que vous preniez un moment où ce sera possible pour le dire à Clemenceau. Je vous avoue que je n'ai pas trop compris la lettre du petit parce qu'il en est resté une bonne partie dans l'encrier il écrit si mal."
