First edition of these two parts which are rarely found together. Manz later had two other parts published. Absent from German catalogues, we find an edition of the fourth part (1640) in Scotland (as the parts were sold separately since they treated specific points.) Absent from Brunet. Full parchment binding with overlapping edges reusing a 15th-century manuscript. Spine largely missing. Traces of ties. Dampstains on boards. Pages 115 to 120, a tear with lack to right margin not touching text. Caspar Manz (1606-1677) jurisconsult and collaborator of the Duke of Bavaria, professor at Ingolstadt, wrote this treatise of defense against tributes and war debts that were ruining peoples and states. Engraved bookplate: Castello di Duino.
