Henri BOSCO
Postcard addressed from Cap d'Antibes, January 25, 1955, to his close friends George and Alice Raillard; Henri Raillard, their son, being the godson of Henri Bosco who dedicated his novel Barboche to him.
Nice copy.
Henri and Madeleine Bosco, after spending the first part of the winter with friends at the Cap d'Antibes, are preparing to leave for Morocco. But before, they will stop at Lourmarin.
He thanks his close friend Georges Raillard for the good news that he regularly transmits to him, "especially the godson", that Henri Bosco cherishes and that he also places "under the benevolence of ND de la Garoupe" (close to the cape d Antibes).
Subjugated by this place where they stayed, the couple Bosco bought a property there: "The coast is admirable, so we bought a house so that our stays are more frequent".
