First volume of the collection of this very rare review of Swedenborg's religion (which takes its title from one of the writings of the Swedish philosopher-theologian), published in Saint-Amand-Montrond (Cher), from 1838 to 1848, under the direction of Le Boys des Guays. Half olive green sheep binding, spine with four raised bands underlined with double gilt fillets, slightly rubbed and with a small lack, gilt dentelle at foot, headcaps slightly worn, cherry red sheep title and volume labels, marbled paper boards, corners slightly rubbed, marbled endpapers and pastedowns.
