Painter and illustrator Maggie Salcedo is formed at the Academy de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris. It publishes his first illustrations in 1907 in
The Malices Apple and Pear, a children's book written by Christopher.
She designs for
the Daily Bon Ton since its creation in 1912 until 1920. His vignettes, performed with a flexible and feature soft colors, illustrate the lives of readers of the
Gazette, as
the young mother , depicting a young woman carrying his daughter on his right hip, in a posture reminiscent of the Madonna and Child. It offers an idyllic vision of motherhood combined with an elegant stylized creations of designers.
