In this edition, the text is indeed modified on page 121: the "Espace du possible" campsite, near Royan, becoming the fictional "Lieu du changement" campsite, near Cholet, to avoid being sued by the owners of the establishment.
Edition published a few months after the first, of which there were no deluxe copies. Some soiling to cover, otherwise handsome copy. Autograph inscription signed by Michel Houellebecq to a man named Alexandre.

Edition after one year to the original. A small trace of ballpoint pen on the first board, a tiny tear at the top of the first cover dish, a slight trace of fold at the bottom corner of the second cover dish, Rare autograph shipment signed by Michel Houellebecq.
Posterior edition of three months to the original. Back slightly cleared, small spots on the margins of the second board which also has a foot fold. Rare autograph dedication, written in London, dated and signed by Michel Houellebecq: "The epilogue was a science fiction hypothesis or departure - but, the more it goes, the more I find the idea good".
